A cluster of volumes fully enveloped in a sun-bleached mahogany rainscreen create a ‘U” around the resort-style pool. The traditional saltbox typology emerges as a familiar form that is extruded and modernized, punctured with glass volumes in a formal contextually scaled composition. Not apparent from the street, are the larger rear openings, ghosted forms, removed from the primary volumes and strategically sculpted to maximize and deliver sunlight to the interior spaces and roof decks above.
